Day 1Welcome in Marrakech airport

Our 15-Day Authentic Morocco Tour from Marrakech, start after arriving at the airport, you’ll be met and taken to Marrakech’s medina, where your Riad is located. free time to stroll around the square. overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2Explore Marrakech with a Local Guide

  After breakfast at the riad, you’ll start your half-day guided tour of Marrakech,“the red city of Morocco”, founded in the 12th century by the Almoravid dynasty. You’ll have the chance to visit the Saadian tomb, the Majorelle gardens, the Bahia palace, and the Koutoubia, the city’s markets, and then on to the famous Jemaa El Fna square. After the tour, you’ll return to your riad. night and breakfast

Day 3Marrakech ⇨ Essaouira

Today begins with a comfortable drive from Marrakech, taking you along scenic routes through picturesque landscapes. As you arrive in Essaouira, you’ll be greeted by the city’s historic medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through its narrow streets, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of this coastal city.

One of the highlights of the trip is the opportunity to explore Essaouira’s stunning coastal beauty. Relax on its serene beaches, watch the fishermen at work, and breathe in the fresh sea breeze. The city’s unique blend of European, Arabic, and Berber influences is evident in its architecture, cuisine, and vibrant arts scene.

Day 4⇨ Explore Essaouira

Today Breakfast is served at your riad, then time to explore Essaouria at your leisure. To meet local artists in their studios, browse their artwork, or head to the lively fish market for a savory lunch of fresh grilled fish caught just this morning. Later a short walk along the beach at low tide reveals the crumbling ruins of the fort of Borj El Barod, and a boat ride to the island of Mogador offers glimpses of the rare Eleanora’s falcon. Should you fancy watersports, you may even want to try one of the many offered on the popular local beaches, including surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding, and kayaking. If you are feeling somewhat tired from your travels, Essaouira is a perfect place to recoup – sit in one of the many beachside cafes on Place Moulay Hassan, relax, and watch the waves roll in with a mint tea and a Moroccan pastry.

Day 5Essaouira ⇨ Casablanca

After breakfast in Mogador, it’s time to leave Essaouira. Then your driver will take you to Casablanca. Along the scenic route, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the diverse landscapes of Morocco, from the coastal beauty of Essaouira to the lush countryside and vibrant cities, your driver will ensure a comfortable and seamless journey. Day 6Chefchaoune ⇨ Rabat ⇨ Chefchaouen

In the morning, after breakfast, we drive along the coast to Rabat, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, is also the country’s current political capital.

You’ll visit : The three main sites to visit are the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah des Oudayas. Free time is allowed for lunch.

After lunch, we drive north through the town of Ouazzane to Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue City, in the Rif mountains. They have a great affection for the color combination of blue and white, particularly appreciating buildings and alleyways that are painted in these hues. Stay in a unique hotel establishment.

Day 7Explore Chefchaouen

Today is Guide half day tour. Take a stroll around the medina, which is entirely surrounded by a wall, and soak up the lively atmosphere over a mint tea in one of the many picturesque cafés. Visit the central Outa-el-Hammam square, where the Great Mosque dominates with its ornate minaret.

Nearby is the entrance to the seventeenth-century Kasbah of Moulay Ismail, home to the Folklore Museum, where a variety of traditional garments, jewellery, ceramics, bridal sedan chairs, finely embroidered textiles, weapons and musical instruments bear witness to the Arab-Andalusian culture of this region. In the rooms of the former prison, works by local artists are on display and art exhibitions are organised.

You can also enjoy a pleasant walk in the surrounding area, as far as the Ras-el-Ma springs, where the water flows all year round. Make the most of your day in this extraordinary city! 

Day 8Chefchaouen ⇨ Volubilis ⇨ Fez

After breakfast, departure for Fez via Volibulis , probably the most imposing imperial city. Fes is a living testimony to history and culture, knowledge and religion, but also to the skills of Moroccan craftsmen and the art of cooking. The Jewish influence can still be felt to this day in Fez, which is a city where you can admire, watch and learn….. Fes, which in its past was one of the centres of Islamic civilisation, remains an intellectual centre of the Arabic-speaking world thanks to art and science, and offers the unspoilt image of a medieval city.

Day 9⇨ Explore Fez with a Local Guide

After Breakfast, a local guide will collect you from the Riad for Half day tour. Fez is made up of three sectors: Fès-el-Bali, the old part of the city, which dates back to the 9th century with a maze of small streets, so narrow that sometimes two people cannot pass each other. Here you will find almost all the city’s historical and cultural sites. Then there’s Fes-el-Jedid, which means ‘New Fes’ and then the New Town, dating from the French protectorate.

First you can admire the panoramic view of the city from the Borj Sud. Then you’ll discover the old town, a labyrinth with thousands of little streets, where you won’t get lost thanks to your guide. Stroll through this captivating medina, visiting the Andalusian quarter, the Medersa Attarine and Bou Inania Koranic schools (14th century), the Place Nejjarine with its remarkable fountain and the Karaouiyine Mosque (from the outside). In the bewildering souks, you can watch shopkeepers haggling and craftsmen working in their workshops. After stopping in front of the Royal Palace, you will cross ‘Le Mellah’, the Jewish quarter and admire the city’s most beautiful gateway, the Bab Boujloud, and visit the potters’ quarter.

In the afternoon, you can explore the area at your leisure.

Day 10Fes ⇨ Ifrane ⇨ Cedars Forest ⇨ Midelt ⇨ Ziz valley ⇨ Merzouga

The road from Fes to Midelt crosses the Middle Atlas via the Kandar Pass and Ifrane, passing through slopes wooded with pine and holm oak. Stop off at Ifrane, a popular winter resort for Moroccans at an altitude of 1,650 metres. Often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, the small town is best known for its elite Al Akhawayn University. Passing through immense cedar forests, where you may be lucky enough to encounter Barbary macaques in the wild, you continue on to Midelt (1,488 m), a small town set in an impressive landscape, which makes its living from mining and fruit growing, especially apples, later drive to Merzouga

Day 11⇨ Explore Sahara Desert with Locals

This is a complete Desert day. “Date with the sunrise” If you are In the middle of the desert, it’s absolutely worth getting up early to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you’ve ever seen at the top of a dune close to the camp and enjoy this landscape that is a gift of nature.

After sunrise we return to Merzouga on the camels where a hearty breakfast is waiting for us. Then we’ll skirt the Erg Chebbi, great extension of sandy desert where we can find the Big Dune of Morocco, which has more than 250mts high.

We continue then by the road that was formerly used for the “Paris – Dakar” and ends in the mountains that limit with Agelia. Stop at Tissardmin oasis where we can find fossil quarries still present in the area, we continue then by a road where we can see nomad settlements and learn their secrets and manners.

The next stop will be at a viewpoint to contemplate the hole Erg Chebbi. We’ll reach then Kamilia Village, originally from Mali, where we’ll take a relaxing cup of tea meanwhile we listen to a concert of the spiritual music of Gnawa.

Transfer to your accommodation and free afternoon to enjoy the town or the dunes next to the camping to see the sunset.

Day 12Merzouga ⇨ Tinghir Gorges ⇨ Boumalne Dades Valley

We leave the desert after breakfast to go to Rissani where we’ll visit the Local market place (market days: tuesday, thursday and saturday). We continue then to Tinghir via Erfoud where we can visit the manufactures of fossilized marble before starting our way to Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves.

One hour later we’ll reach one of the best places of the High Atlas, the Todra Gorges. The course of the river has carved out cliff-sided canyon and it’s because of its beauty and the high rock sides that’s very popular among climbers. Free time to have lunch in this wonderful place. A short walk through the gorges is very advisable to better appreciate the beauty of the landscape.

In the afternoon we continue to the Dades valley, also known as the figs valley going through Boumalne Dades we’ll stop at the “monkey legs”. Dinner and night at the Dades gorges.

Day 13Boumalne Dades Valley ⇨ Ouarzazate ⇨ Kasbah ⇨ Atlas Mountains ⇨ Marrakesh

After breakfast, we can enjoy a visit to Ouarzazate (Morocco’s Hollywood), considered the Hollywood of Africa and the world’s 3rd-largest location for series, films and documentaries. Then a visit to the Kasbah de Touririt and the film studio.

Next, we go to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a Unesco heritage site; visit the Kasbah and the old village. Afternoon departure for Marrakech via the Tizi-N-Ticha pass, on the way you’ll enjoy the Tichka pass. A stop on one of the cliffs to appreciate the magic of the mountains and give you the opportunity to take some great photos.

Day 14Free Time in Marrakech

   Enjoy a final free day to explore.

Opt to get up early and catch the sunrise over Marrakech by pre-booking the Hot Air Balloon excursion.

Another great place to start your day of exploring is Djemaa el Fna square, in the heart of the medina. The square changes its offerings throughout the day. Solo Traveller

The Communications were great before the event and pick up was on time. We were a family group of 5 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were nice and especially our guide, who was helpful and good fun. I would recommend this trip and think it is excellent value for money.
