Day 1Casablanca ⇨ Fes

In the morning you will start our Private 5 Days tour from Casablanca To Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara Desert by drive to the capital of Morocco “Rabat”. We will start with the Bab Challah, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and one of the main gates of the royal palace and the Oudaya Kasbah.

Then we drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with ancient pillars and archways. After strolling in the ruins, we drive 30 km to visit Meknes. The city is considered the Ismaili capital and one of the imperial cities. In which we visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary. Later arrive to Fes.

Day 2⇒ Explore Fes

We have breakfast. Departure for a visit to Fes old Medina, the spiritual capital of Morocco and certainly the most beautiful of the Imperial Cities.

Discover the Medina or “Fes El Bali” and its historic monuments: visit the Medersa Attarine, the Nejjarine Fountain, and finally a view of the exterior of the Karaouine Mosque, the world’s first university. We continue our tour of the Medina, discovering the wealth of Fassi craftsmanship in the various souk districts, which are undoubtedly the most enchanting in Morocco. Lunch in an old medina palace.

In the afternoon, visit the New Town, Fès El Jedid, the royal palace, and the mullah. Overnight stay.

Day 3Fes ⇨ Azro ⇨ Merzouga

Today, you’ll leave Fez for Morocco’s “Switzerland”: Irfan (ski region) and pass through forests and Middle Atlas Berber monkeys at Azrou, then arrive in Midelt: Which is the geographic center of Morocco. Off to Merzouga through the “Gorges du Ziz”, a bizarre canyon with oases and date palms. Then you arrive at the country’s first dunes and beautiful oases. A short visit to the ancient capital of Tafilalt: Sijilmassa (Rissani). Continues to Merzouga, the oasis of the desert, integrated with lush palm groves, surrounded by the golden red dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Next, take a camel ride into the depths of the Sahara. Enjoy the peace and space of the fantastic dunes and the romantic sunset on one of the enormous dune peaks. Dinner and overnight in typical desert surroundings (night in a Luxury desert camp tent).

Day 4Merzouga ⇒ Tinghir ⇒ Boumalne Dades Valley

Today, in the early morning, will wake you up to watch the sunrise at Merzouga desert. After that, we race the camels back to the village. After showering and breakfast at the riad, we head to Rissani, Tinghir, and we reach Todra Gorge which is the highest, narrowest gorge in Morocco. Here we can hike into the valley, and after lunch in the gorge, we will continue to the Dades Valley, where we enjoy the sand castles and rock formations known as “Monkey toes”. We stayed in a local hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 5 Boumaln Dades ⇨ Ouarzazate ⇨ High Atlas Mountains ⇨ Marrakesh

 

In the morning, we’ll explore the Dades Gorge. During our tour, we’ll see landscapes of unique beauty, featuring a series of green oases fed by the Dades River.

Gradually the valley narrows, giving way to a thick series of limestone boulders with vertiginous walls “the Dades gorges” a pleasure for the eyes. We continue by road for some 12 km. We have a detour along the track, the Amgoun mountain pass, the Rose Valley, and the Skoura palm grove with its kasbahs.
