After breakfast at the Riad, you’ll find a local guide waiting to start your half Day tour of Marrakech’s old town. The morning begins with a visit to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech’s landmark and inspiration for other buildings such as Seville’s Giralda and Rabat’s Hassan Tower. Your next stop is the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs. Marrakech’s Saadian tombs date back to the time of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur.

The tombs were discovered in 1917 and restored by the Fine Arts Department. The mausoleum contains the tombs of some sixty members of the Saadian dynasty from the Draa River valley. After a lunch break, you continue to the famous Jemaa el Fna square, home to a range of dishes, snake charmers, local musicians and fortune-tellers. There’s nowhere on earth like Jemaa el Fna, the square at the heart of old Marrakech. You’ll also stroll through the souks and discover hundreds of handicrafts.

After breakfast, Pick-up from your Marrakech hotel/riad and drive to the magnificent Dades Valley.

Travel through the Atlas Mountains and over the 2260-meter-high Tizi N’Tichka pass, offering spectacular panoramic views of mountains, valleys and colorful Berber villages. Then on to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the fortified Ksar with its majestic kasbahs.

After crossing the river on the other side to find the ksar, we head south to Ouarzazate, popularly known as the Hollywood of Africa for its Atlas Film Studios, where many successful films have been shot.

Next, we head for Kelaat M’Gouna and reach the Dades River, which winds through a lush valley, dotted with ruined kasbahs on viewpoints and surrounded by the most unusual rock formations and cliffs.

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise and breathtaking scenery, and after breakfast our journey heads to Er-Rachidia and the Ziz valley, famous for its expanse of palm trees. We then cross the base of Mount Ayachi.

We pass through Midelt, famous for its apples in Morocco. Lunch will be served in a restaurants along the way, after which we will also cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, with an option to stop in the cedar forests to observe the monkeys, then the road continues to Fez, where we will end your drive today.

After breakfast in your Riad, Explore the labyrinth of streets within the famous Fez old medina with half-day a local Guide. The Old Fes medina is the world’s largest living medieval medina and a UNESCO site. Discover the artisan quarters, sample treats from the carts, and view Fès’ famous leather tannery from above. Enjoy free time  by your self this afternoon.

Toady starts with pick up from your accommodation in Fes. Then we depart to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with ancient pillars and archways, Later drive to Chefchaouen the blue city.

Getting lost in the narrow, unfrequented streets of Chefchaouen’s old town, with cats posing in front of incredibly sturdy indigo doors, many of which still retain their traditional old look… and elderly men in hooded coats, walking up and down the often blue streets and stairs, all in a pleasantly gentle setting.

On our last day of the 9-Days Morocco Desert Trip from Casablanca, After breakfast, we’ll set off for Casablanca from Chefchaoune, with a stop in one of Morocco’s imperial cities, Rabat to visit Hassan Tower, Later drive to drop-off by Casablanca airport or by your Hotel.
